This fun drawing I put together using a combination of three reference photos. I wanted the female common kingfisher to sit on the ‘no fishing’ sign, defying the ‘rules’ by both partaking in fishing, and in blocking the ‘no’ on the sign, as if in rebellion. The kingfisher breed was chosen for her name to complete the mockery.
