Wildlife are often viewed in a disturbed, alert position. I wanted to capture the trust and love between two wild animals, literally leaning on each other, not only to survive but for companionship and comfort. I aimed to accentuate their passion and character through rich colours, the softness of the muzzle and slight facial battle wounds, also portraying their fragility.
