‘Daddy’s Home’ has special significance to me, as I drew it directly from my photo of our family pets sitting together in eager anticipation of their Dad’s arrival home from work, upon hearing the garage door opening. The outsider is never present to witness the excitement of their pets’ reaction to their arrival so I feel it has such emotion to capture that in a drawing.
